SIBRI is the research institute in China who engages in R & D and promoting of energy-saving new products and technologies in industrial boiler industry, thermal performance testing of products, environmental protection performance testing, performance evaluation of boiler auxiliary products, industry intelligence and standardization work.

SIBRI is not only the Chairman of the board of directors and the Secretary-General of Industrial Boiler Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association (CIBB), but also the affiliated unit of Industrial Boiler Energy-saving & Emission Reduction Professional Committee of China Standardization Committee on Boilers and Pressure Vessels (CSCBPV), and the Deputy Chairman of the board of directors of China Boiler Water Treatment Association.

SIBRI has nearly 100 staffs, engineering technical personnel accounts for 86%, of which 5 Professorship Senior Engineer or national outstanding contribution experts, 15 senior engineers, 35 engineers, 1 doctor and 9 masters.
